Job Title: Operations Officer (OO)

Job Summary:

The Operations Officer will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that the Bakery, Water Packaging, and Petrol Station businesses run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing operational policies, managing workflows, and driving continuous improvement across all three business units.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all business units are running efficiently and effectively.

2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.

3. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and optimize stock levels.

6. Staff Supervision: Supervise and support operational staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

7. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.

8. Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma in Management Studies or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 2 years Post NYSC experience, preferably in a similar industry.

3. Candidates with National Diploma in relevant fields and 5- 7 years experience may also be considered.

3. Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.

4. Knowledge:

- Understanding of operational management principles and practices.

- Familiarity with quality control and regulatory requirements.

- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.

4. Inventory Management: Monitor fuel inventory levels and manage stock effectively.

General Operations KPIs

1. Cost Control: Monitor and control operational costs.

2. Productivity: Measure productivity rates and identify areas for improvement.

3. Employee Engagement: Monitor employee engagement and satisfaction.

4. Supply Chain Management: Ensure effective supply chain management and relationships with suppliers.
