- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
- Procurement Planning: Collaborate with department heads to forecast procurement needs and prepare procurement plans accordingly.
- Purchase Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring all approvals and documentation are in place. Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to determine purchasing needs. Ensure optimal stock levels to meet operational requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the hotel.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Budget Management: Work closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure accurate financial reporting related to procurement.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess supplier performance.
