Product Development Analyst

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: (Short description)

To support the development, enhancement, and management of telecommunication products and services by conducting market research, analyzing data, monitoring product performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• · Extract value from what we already have by focusing on optimizing processes within the Unit/Department in line with the value creation philosophy. This includes individual contributions and recommendations to improve existing business project/initiative, capital/budget efficiency activities within the Unit, contracts review and negotiation in collaboration with the Procurement team, structural changes within the Unit etc.
• · Drive Innovation by identifying and taking advantage of new business opportunities, e.g., by stimulating and encouraging new business opportunities, launch of products, product/process innovation, business model innovation etc.
• Maintain leadership in the ICT/Digital industry by influencing stakeholders within your immediate ecosystem for the organziations benefit. This includes participation in credible external think-tank sessions, involvement in inter-divisional focus Group sessions to improve business performance etc.
• Enhance/expand the companys role in the larger national macro environment by participating in CSR projects and/or NGOs, involvement in recognized professional institutions, think-tank activities etc.
• Role model our refreshed values and obsessions needed to sustain organisational performance (Example - drive people management activities by being the principal coach for your direct reports using the people management framework. Participate in employee engagement projects such as mentorship, facilitating programs, etc. support recruitment, on boarding and grievance management processes etc.)

Specific Duties Based on Units within Division (For Generic Jobs):

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product growth.
• Monitor the performance of existing products and suggest enhancements.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including product guides and FAQs.
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback for improvements.
• Support the launch of new products and features by coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Analyze customer feedback to identify pain points and propose solutions.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Identify and propose innovative solutions to improve product effectiveness and user experience.

Requirements

· First degree in any related discipline

Fluent in English

· Minimum of 3-5 years in product development, analysis, management, or related fields.

· Proven experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.

· Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and reporting.

Knowledge of product lifecycle management and market analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
