Job Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the entire production lifecycle — from sourcing materials to overseeing manufacturing and quality control — ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. This role requires a detail-oriented, results-driven professional who understands fashion production standards and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet design, sampling, and delivery timelines.
• Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with fabric suppliers, manufacturers, and other production partners locally and internationally.
• Ensure timely sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories, aligning with design specifications and cost targets.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards at every stage of production; inspect samples and finished goods for compliance with Nitemis standards.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize production efficiency without compromising quality.
• Track raw materials and finished goods inventory; ensure efficient stock management in collaboration with inventory and retail teams.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance production speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including in-house tailors, seamstresses, and external manufacturing partners.
Prepare and deliver regular production reports, including updates on timelines, costs, and challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production management within the fashion or apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, materials sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain quality control standards.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with production management software is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
