Safety Advisor

The Safety Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across worksites or operations. This role works closely with site teams, contractors, and management to ensure compliance with safety legislation and company policies, while promoting a culture of safet

• Experience Level : Senior level
• Experience Length : 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and enforcement of site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and document findings with corrective actions.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and follow-up.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to staff and contractors.
• Promote proactive hazard identification and reporting among workers.
• Assist in maintaining and updating safety documentation, permits, and registers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Provide safety reports, data analysis, and performance feedback to HSE leadership.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience
• Degree in a related field
