Safety Lead

The Safety Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This role provides leadership in promoting a strong safety culture, proactively identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance.

• Experience Level : Senior level
• Experience Length : 5 years

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans, procedures, and policies.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and investigations, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for employees and contractors.
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and track follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors to enforce safety protocols.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, communication, and recognition initiatives.
• Monitor and report on key safety metrics (e.g., LTIs, near misses, TRIFR).
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
