SAFETY MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Safety Manager to oversee the safety programs at our construction sites.

- The Safety Manager will ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed, mitigate risks, and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

- This role involves the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety protocols standards and ensure overall site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

- Provide safety training to employees, subcontractors, and visitors, ensuring all workers understand safety procedures, PPE usage, and emergency protocols.

- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

- Monitor safety performance, track key metrics, and prepare safety reports for senior management.

- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and supervisors to create safety action plans and resolve any safety-related concerns.

- Maintain and update all safety-related documentation, including safety manuals, training records, and incident logs.

- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

- Manage the coordination and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all site workers.

- Promote a safety-first culture on all construction projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred).

- Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role in the construction industry.

- In-depth knowledge of federal and state safety regulations

- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to enforce safety policies.

- Ability to conduct safety training and maintain accurate records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
