BanyanTree is a business turnaround, process re-engineering, and outsourcing company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We provide services to clients across various industries, including financial, manufacturing, consumer goods, telecommunications, oil and gas, and energy industries.

We seek to hire a Senior Contract Manager for 6 months (extendable to 9 months) to join our consultancy firm for a Supply Chain Acquisition Management Project. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end contract lifecycle processes related to SAP ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations. This role ensures that contracts align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and vendor management best practices while mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting procurementand, supplier management, for and ERP systems (SAP) implementation.. This candidate will work closely with multiple operations groups to ensure that supply chain processes are seamless & efficient, and lead to stable operations after the acquisition period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Support SAP contract lifecycle, including procurement, implementation, support, and vendor performance management.

§ Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure SAP-related contracts align with digital transformation goals.

§ Ensure seamless integration of SAP ERP with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

§ Identify risks and compliance issues related to ERP implementations and propose mitigation strategies.

§ Monitor contract execution and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

§ Build and maintain relationships with SAP service providers, system integrators, and software vendors.

§ Assess vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.

§ Ensure vendors deliver on agreed SLAs, warranties, and support commitments.

§ Identify contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

§ Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection, cybersecurity, and licensing agreements related to ERP systems.

§ Collaborate with business stakeholders to align ERP contracts with organizational objectives.

§ Support change management, process re-engineering, and business transformation initiatives related to ERP adoption.

§ Provide guidance on contract-related policies, procurement strategies, and budgeting for ERP projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

(a) Proven working experience for a minimum of 10 years in a Supply Chain contracting role.

(b) Experience running tenders for major contracts (>$5 million) preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.

(c) Ideally has experience with IT systems implementation.

(d) Bachelors degree in any field but preferably Supply Chain Management or Business Process Management

(e) Aptitude in data-driven decision-making, for data analytics & reporting.

(f) Experience working with SAP contracts and cloud ERP solutions.

CRITICAL SKILLS

(a) Ability to organise and manage complex tendering exercises

(b) Skills in commercial bid evaluation in complex multi-company tenders

(c) Understanding of contracting risk apportionment and negotiation to finalise high quality deals

(d) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and across global teams.

(e) Ability to develop and utilize collaborative relationships.

(f) Excellent analytical and organizational skills

(g) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams) applications & Microsoft Visio

(h) Flexible work habits with maturity to accept changing demands as they occur.

II. Level 2: Interview with Senior Practitioners - SCM

REMUNERATION

Salary : Upto N5m depending on level of fit (Note: As part of the hiring process, you will be required to provide evidence of your current or most recent remuneration & expected remuneration).
