Position: IoT Engineer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Work Mode: Onsite Industry: Logistics & Technology
About the Role:
The IoT Engineer will develop and optimize MODBUS-based communication protocols for IoT-enabled tracking systems, ensuring seamless hardware-software connectivity and real-time data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement IoT integrations with MODBUS and industrial automation systems.
Work with sensors, controllers, and edge devices for reliable data acquisition.
Develop APIs and backend systems for IoT data collection and reporting.
Troubleshoot hardware-software interconnectivity issues.
Enhance security protocols for IoT networks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of IoT development experience, including MODBUS integration.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript (Node.js).
Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, and cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google IoT Core.
Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and IoT authentication.
