Profile Java Backend Developer

Key Skills

· Java Programming Language: Strong experience in developing web applications in Java and a solid understanding of Java features.

· Spring Framework: Ability to build applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security,

· Knowledge and experience in using Apache POI, Apache Kafka,

· Relational and Non-relational Databases: Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) Oracle,

· Version Control Systems: Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket

· DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge and experience using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD principles

· Coding Best Practices and Design Patterns: Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles, understanding of clean code practices

· Testing : a Senior Java Developer is expected to take full ownership of their code quality by writing and maintaining comprehensive tests. Should have hands-on experience with: JUnit 5, Mockito.

Additional Skills

· Cloud Services: Knowledge of AWS, GCP

· NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)[KW1]

· Language proficiency in English

Required Experience

· At least 8 years of practical experience in Java programming (documented in the CV)

Nice to have:

· Experience in banking sector is a plus

· Experience working in European/US companies or on projects for European/US clients is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦1,100,000.00 - ₦1,200,000.00 per month
