Senior Mobile Frontend Engineer

React Native Mobile Frontend Developer (2-Month Fixed Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Frontend Engineer to spearhead the development of our React Native mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, particularly with React Native.

This is a 2-month (8 weeks) fixed contract position with an immediate start date . Salary is ₦600,000 - ₦750,000 monthly , based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of our mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor and guide team members in React Native best practices.
• Work closely with backend engineers to understand and integrate .NET Core 7 APIs.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.
• Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols.
Lead code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Expertise in React Native and familiarity with its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Experience with AWS services and deployment.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
