Special Assistant to MD

We seek a highly detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic special assistant (SSA) to support the MD in overseeing a diversified portfolio. The ideal candidate will act as the MDs right hand, ensuring seamless coordination across businesses, driving operational excellence, and preemptively resolving critical issues.

• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 3 years

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily executive briefings with KPIs, risks, and action plans for all business units.
• Conduct deep dives into property management (lease audits, tenant/vendor issues), bank compliance (CBN regulations), and government contract deliverables.
• Hotels: Monitor VIP guest logistics, occupancy rates, and incident resolution.
• Bank: Track loan portfolios, collateral (linked to real estate), and regulatory filings.
• Property Mgmt.: Oversee rent rolls, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Act as the first responder for emergencies (e.g., property fires, bank liquidity crunches).
• Ensure 100% compliance across government contracts and financial audits.
• Maintain granular trackers for leases, contracts, and MDs priorities.
Verify all data/reports before MD review (zero tolerance for errors).

Requirements

• A minimum of an HND in business, law, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years in executive support, operations, or property/banking compliance.
• Mastery of Excel, Power BI, or property management software (e.g., AppFolio).
• Obsessive documentation (Notion, ClickUp).
• Ability to act under pressure (fire drills, regulatory raids).
• Proactive, relentless follow-through, discreet with high-stakes information.
