Our company specializes in offering insurance protection to Microfinance Banks, Microfinance Institutions, and Co-operative Societies. We are located at Super Pack Building (Grooming Centre), No. 120, Ikotun-Egbe Road, Ejigbo, Lagos. Our focus is on providing tailored products and services that meet the specific needs of the low-income market and individuals who have been excluded from financial services and government welfare schemes.

• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Risk Assessment: Evaluate and assess the risk profile of potential clients, policies, and products, using data and statistical analysis to inform underwriting decisions.
• 2. Underwriting Guidelines: Develop, implement, and maintain underwriting guidelines, procedures, and standards for microinsurance products.
• 3. Policy Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design and develop new microinsurance products and features.
• 4. Premium Rating: Determine premium rates for microinsurance products, based on risk assessment and actuarial analysis.
• 5. Claims Review: Review and assess claims, ensuring that they are valid and meet policy terms and conditions.
• 6. Data Analysis: Analyze data and statistics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in underwriting and risk management.
• 7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that underwriting practices and procedures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• 8. Training and Development: Provide training and support to underwriting staff, agents, and brokers on microinsurance products and underwriting guidelines.
• Requirements:
• • Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance, or a related field
• • Professional certification (e.g., ACIIN)
• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and underwriting software
