Treasury Accountant

About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will play a vital role in managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, handling foreign currency operations, and ensuring timely reconciliations and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely recording.
• Handle payments to designated vendors and close out invoices.
• Reconcile vendor accounts regularly and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with banks for foreign currency sourcing and ensure timely remittances.
• Reconcile foreign remittances to HQ promptly.
• Assist with reviewing expenses and payment documentation.
• Oversee the accounts payable function.
• Support statutory audits with relevant documentation and data.
• Prepare internal management reports and assist with monthly/year-end closings.

Requirements & Competencies:

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Sound knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
