Job Description: Online Accounting and Finance Tutor

IOT Academy, a leading tuition provider for professional accounting and finance students, is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Online Accounting and Finance Tutors. As an Online Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality educational content to our students through online platforms like Zoom.

Responsibilities:

Conducting online lectures and tutorials via Zoom for professional accounting and finance courses.

Demonstrating expertise and proficiency in the selected course(s) to deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons.

Providing mentorship, tips, advice, and revision assistance to students to enhance their learning experience.

Utilizing relevant teaching materials, such as MS PowerPoint slides, to deliver effective presentations.

Ensuring course outline coverage within the allocated time frame of 12 weeks.

Managing a group of students on Zoom and maintaining an interactive and supportive learning environment.

Being available for at least 3 hours between 7 am and 9 pm on weekends to accommodate students schedules.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality education by dedicating a minimum of 3 hours weekly per course.

Collaborating with other tutors and the Academys management team to enhance the overall learning experience.

Providing accurate and timely feedback to students on their progress and performance.

Requirements:

Proficiency in one or more professional accounting and finance courses, such as Business and Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate and Business Law, Financial Reporting, Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Financial Management, Strategic Business Leader, Performance Management, Advanced Performance Management, Advanced Financial Management, and Advanced Taxation.

Ability to dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per week per course for the duration of 12 weeks.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Availability to lecture online through Zoom.

Willingness to mentor and support students beyond the scheduled class hours.

Possession of relevant teaching materials and resources for the selected course(s).

ACCA Affiliate or Member status is preferred.

Experience in tutoring or lecturing at a tuition center is advantageous.
