TEDxMaitama is an independently organized TEDx event dedicated to creating a platform for sharing impactful ideas that inspire change and promote innovation. We bring together thought leaders, creatives, and changemakers to inspire our community and create a lasting impact on society.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Producer and Video Content Creator to join the TEDxMaitama team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that reflects the spirit and theme of TEDxMaitama. From pre-event teasers to behind-the-scenes footage and post-event recaps, youll be integral to documenting and showcasing the events energy and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Production & Direction:

• Lead video production efforts from concept to execution for TEDxMaitamas promotional content, speaker profiles, and event highlights.
• Capture high-quality video footage before, during, and after the event, including speaker sessions, audience reactions, behind-the-scenes footage, and key moments.
Direct and coordinate the filming process, ensuring smooth operation of cameras, audio, and lighting to achieve professional results.

2. Editing & Post-production:

• Edit raw video footage into compelling and polished video content, ensuring that the final product meets TEDxMaitamas standards for quality and consistency.
• Incorporate elements like graphics, animations, music, and voiceovers into the videos to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Work with the content team to ensure all videos align with TEDxMaitamas branding and messaging.

3. Content Strategy & Planning:

• Collaborate with the TEDxMaitama team to develop and execute a video content strategy that effectively promotes the event, speakers, and sponsors.
Plan and manage video content calendars, ensuring content is produced and published on time across multiple platforms (social media esp. Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook, website, etc.).

4. Collaborative Workflow:

• Work alongside the marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure video content is seamlessly integrated into the overall event campaign.
Communicate with speakers, volunteers, and event coordinators to capture the most impactful moments throughout the event.

5. Event Day Support:

• Be present at TEDxMaitama event day(s) to manage live video coverage, including shooting key moments and assisting with live streaming needs.
Oversee on-site video production and ensure all equipment and footage are handled professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a video producer, content creator, or similar role, particularly within live events or TEDx events.
• Proficiency in video production equipment (camera, lighting, sound) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of how to tailor video content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
• A keen eye for detail, storytelling, and creative direction, with the ability to produce videos that resonate with TEDxMaitamas audience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience in live streaming, video documentation, or event videography is highly desirable.
Passion for TEDxs mission and the ability to capture and convey inspiring ideas through video.
