The Gender, Safeguarding, Disability & Inclusion Lead will drive the integration of inclusive practices across programs, ensuring that women, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable groups are empowered, protected, and actively engaged. The role involves strategic planning, multi-state program implementation, staff capacity building, safeguarding oversight, and stakeholder engagement to uphold organizational values and donor standards. Key Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Human Rights, Disability Studies, Law, or related field. Minimum 8 years’ experience in gender mainstreaming, safeguarding, and disability inclusion in development or humanitarian settings. Familiarity with donor compliance frameworks is required. Proven ability to lead initiatives across multiple states and engage diverse stakeholders. Strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement action plans for gender equity, disability inclusion, and safeguarding. Enforce anti-harassment, safeguarding, and respect-at-work policies across all locations. Lead the rollout of gender, disability, and safeguarding initiatives in Lagos, Kano, and Ogun States. Design and deliver staff and partner trainings, and develop IEC materials to promote inclusivity. Conduct gender and disability analysis of program activities to ensure inclusive participation. Monitor field activities, feedback mechanisms, and ensure compliance with donor standards. Serve as the focal point for safeguarding reports, ensuring ethical and confidential handling. Build partnerships with NGOs, community leaders, and other stakeholders to strengthen advocacy.
