As a company scaling rapidly, we are managing numerous projects simultaneously — including partner and customer integrations, product releases, marketing campaigns, event sponsorships, hiring initiatives, operational activities, and strategic travel. To deliver these successfully, Kredete needs a dedicated Project Manager who can bring structure, alignment, and accountability across the organization.

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will be the central driver of execution across all functions at Kredete. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and reporting projects and activities across the company, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup environment. You will work closely with leadership and every team — engineering, product, design, marketing, finance, HR, compliance, and external partners — to ensure the company achieves its strategic goals.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria/Remote (Global, travel as needed)

What You Will Do:

Project Planning & Setup

  • Develop detailed project plans for every initiative (integrations, campaigns, events, hiring, product releases, travels, sponsorships).
  • Define timelines, budgets, manpower, and resources needed for execution.
  • Set dependencies and precedents, ensuring cross-team coordination to avoid delays.
  • Build and maintain a company-wide roadmap, cutting across all quarters and teams.

Project Execution and Delivery

  • Manage the full project life cycle — initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Track and manage multiple concurrent projects across all business units.
  • Use project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Jira) to organize and monitor execution.
  • Drive partner integrations, customer onboarding, and product releases to completion.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, event sponsorships, and operational activities ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Track hiring and recruitment projects, ensuring positions are filled on time and aligned with manpower plans.

Tracking, Reporting and Communication

  • Track every project, action, and activity, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on progress, risks, delays, and blockers.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation for visibility across teams.
  • Present status reports and updates to senior management.
  • Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners/clients.

Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Negotiate priorities, Identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to avoid impact on deliverables.
  • Monitor risks throughout the project and adjust plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned.
  • Continuously improve project processes, workflows, and tools to boost efficiency.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Track project expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Coordinate with finance to align budgets and approvals.
  • Adjust allocations where necessary to avoid overruns.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work with leadership and all team heads to ensure each knows their role in ongoing projects.
  • Facilitate alignment and accountability across engineering, product, design, finance, marketing, compliance, and HR.
  • Serve as the execution bridge between strategy (leadership goals) and operations (team deliverables).

Who You Are

  • 5–8+ years of project management or program management experience, preferably in companies that build and ship software products (fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent projects.
  • Strong expertise with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Trello, Jira).
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, coordinating diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in presenting to leadership.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative delivery frameworks.
  • Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master) are an advantage but not required.
  • Strong leadership and influence without authority skills to drive execution across teams.
  • Ability to manage company-wide hiring goals and recruitment projects as part of execution planning.
  • Experience managing integrations, product launches, client onboarding, and marketing campaigns.
  • Skilled in reporting, documentation, and communication for visibility across stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in roadmap and dependency management for multi-stream projects.
  • High adaptability to manage fast-paced, dynamic startup environments with competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk-mitigation abilities.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while managing multiple moving pieces.
