Our client, a reputable leader in the Agricultural sector, is looking to recruit a skilled Mechanical Engineer. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and utilities. Experience in interpreting technical drawings, machine manuals, and maintenance procedures. Understanding safety procedures, preventive maintenance planning, and root cause analysis. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify wear, leaks, or potential failures. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machines. Troubleshoot mechanical faults, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions quickly to reduce downtime. Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn-out parts to sustain equipment performance. Coordinate with production and other engineering teams to ensure mechanical systems run reliably during operations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, faults, parts replaced, and operational logs using the provided logbooks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all maintenance and repair work. Participate in the planning and execution of major shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and installations. Support continuous improvement by identifying areas to optimize machine reliability and maintenance processes.
