Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher, based in Abuja. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans for students with disabilities, facilitating their learning in a middle school environment. Day-to-day tasks include teaching, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educators and staff to provide a supportive learning environment. Strong communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience and expertise in Special Education and working with students with Disabilities
• Teaching experience, preferably in a Middle School setting
• Strong Communication skills
• A degree in Special Education or a related field
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Relevant certifications with strength in writing IEP and reports weekly.
• Applicants must reside around Kubwa, Gwarimpa,Dawaki and Mpape axis.
• Entry closes on 16th September.
• Salary starting from #120,000
