Job Summary

The Argon Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using argon welding techniques to join metal components according to technical specifications and project requirements. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, selecting suitable equipment, and ensuring all welds meet strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and weld metal parts using argon welding techniques.
• Review blueprints or technical specifications before welding.
• Select appropriate welding equipment based on project requirements.
• Maintain welding equipment in proper working order.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Adhere to quality standards throughout the welding process

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years working experience.
• OND or Trade Test I, II & III
• Proficiency in Argon Welding and knowledge of various welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams
• Experience in handling and maintaining welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Gross Pay; N120,000 with other benefits
