Bakery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport freshly baked bread and other bakery products to businesses, vendors, and customers. You will ensure that orders are delivered on time, in excellent condition, and according to customer specifications. You will be the face of our company to many of our clients, and your role will play a key part in maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Delivery: Safely transport freshly baked bread and bakery goods to businesses, vendors, and customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Order Fulfilment: Follow delivery schedules and routes as directed, ensuring all orders are completed as requested.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during delivery, addressing any customer needs or concerns in a professional manner.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times.
• Inventory Management: Check and verify products before leaving the bakery and keep track of inventory during the delivery process.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and safety protocols while on the job.
• Problem Solving: Handle any unforeseen delivery issues, such as traffic delays or route changes, ensuring timely resolution.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience working as a driver in a bakery or food-related business, and who values punctuality, reliability, and excellent service. The following skills and qualifications are required:

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a bakery or food distribution business.
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate local routes and use GPS systems effectively.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to stick to delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills, as you will interact with customers and vendors.
• Physical stamina to load and unload products, and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to handle product deliveries safely and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a sales driver
• Familiarity with handling bakery products and ensuring their safe delivery.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
