Job Summary

A reputable school in Rumuokoro, Port Harcourt is seeking a passionate and experienced Class Teacher to join its growing academic team. The ideal candidate must have excellent classroom management skills and a strong ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Nigerian and/or British curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning
• Develop lesson plans, learning objectives, and instructional materials
• Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create a positive and safe learning environment
• Maintain accurate student records and report cards
• Foster the intellectual and social development of pupils
• Participate in school meetings, training, and extra-curricular activities
• Engage in effective communication with parents/guardians

Requirements

• Minimum of NCE or B.Ed. in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a formal school setting
• Knowledge of the Nigerian and/or British curriculum
• Strong command of English (spoken and written)
• Proficient in use of basic ICT tools for teaching
• Patience, passion, and strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦100,000.00 per month
