**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Chief Credit Officer to oversee our credit department and ensure the efficient and effective management of credit operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, loan origination, and customer service. **Duties:** - Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Manage the credit approval process for loans and lines of credit - Monitor credit quality and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement - Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for credit risk management and portfolio growth - Lead a team of credit analysts and loan officers to achieve department goals - Review loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to make informed lending decisions **Skills:** - Proven experience in loan origination, financial services, and customer service - Strong understanding of basic math principles and financial calculations - Knowledge of Quicken or similar financial software - Familiarity with escrow processes and bank operations - Previous experience as a loan officer or in financial sales - Proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
