Facility Technician

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Facility Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks in office buildings. The ideal candidate should have experience in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general building maintenance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Experience Length : 3 years

Responsibilities:

• Handle basic carpentry work, such as fixing doors, locks, furniture and office fixtures.C
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all office equipment and infrastructure remain in good condition.
• Assist in the installation and assembly of office furniture and equipment when needed.
• Maintain and repair restrooms, including toilets, faucets, and sanitary fixtures to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify potential maintenance issues and report them for timely resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and storage areas.
• Follow safety protocols and building regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Provide support for small office renovations and improvements as required.
Demonstrate communication, responsibility, and teamwork in all tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Required).
• 3+ years in maintenance or facilities coordination, especially in office building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and ability to implement digital tracking systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Must be skilled in using Excel and Word for data management, reporting, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead a team and work with minimal supervision.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 250,000
