Job Title: Factory HR Manager - Food Industry

Location: Isolo, Lagos

Salary: ₦200,000 NET per month

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a Factory HR Manager for our client, a leading company in the Food Industry. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in HR management within a factory setting, particularly in the food manufacturing sector. The Factory HR Manager will manage all HR-related functions, ensuring efficient workforce management and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for factory staff.
• Manage employee relations, resolve workplace issues, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements specific to the food manufacturing industry.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance performance and productivity.
• Monitor and manage attendance, leaves, and payroll administration.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and maintaining good relationships between staff and management.
• Administer performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce turnover.
• Handle health and safety matters, ensuring factory safety regulations are followed.
• Support in resolving conflicts and maintaining a harmonious work environment within the factory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience within the food manufacturing industry or similar factory environment.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

• Previous experience managing HR for blue-collar workers in a factory setting.
• Familiarity with industrial relations and union negotiations.
