Job Summary:

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing treasury operations, executing trades, and conducting market research across commodity and financial markets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance or capital markets, hands-on experience in trade execution, and be comfortable with financial modeling and analysis. A CFA or CFI certification is highly desirable. This role supports the finance and trading teams in driving accurate reporting, market intelligence, and effective financial planning.

Responsibilities:

● Oversee daily finance operations including budgeting, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.

● Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and cash flow statements.

● Execute trades on broker platforms in line with approved strategies.

● Maintain and reconcile trade records; ensure proper settlement with brokers and clearinghouses.

● Conduct technical and fundamental market analysis using tools like Bloomberg and Refinitiv.

● Monitor global economic indicators and geopolitical developments affecting commodity pricing.

● Develop and maintain financial models and performance dashboards.

● Support hedging and risk management strategies using futures or forward contracts.

● Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.

● Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (brokers, banks, vendors) for smooth operations.

● Assist in audits, documentation, and strategic financial planning.

Requirements:

● Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

● Minimum of 3 years experience in financial analysis, trade execution, or commodity market research.

● CFA or CFI certification is highly desirable.

● Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

● Experience using Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar financial data platforms.

● Familiarity with ERP or accounting software is an advantage.

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
