We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our automobile repairs and servicing
company. This position is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic and operational leadership of the business,
including sales, operations, customer service, financial management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will
have an extensive background in the automotive industry, coupled with exceptional communication, negotiation,
and sales skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability while ensuring
operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance business performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and elevate customer
satisfaction.
- Oversee all service operations, including scheduling, repairs, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring
high standards are met.
- Manage resource utilization effectively, including labor, equipment, and inventory.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Optimize workshop workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory.
- Monitor financial performance, providing insights and corrective actions to ensure profitability.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Gather customer feedback and implement improvements to further enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute customer loyalty programs to drive retention and repeat business.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of mechanics, service advisors, and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback to team members and fostering a positive work
culture.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve operational and business goals. Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or a related field (Masters degree
preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in a management role within the automotive repair and servicing industry.
- Deep knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in the automotive sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen with solid budgeting experience.
- Proficiency in automotive management software and other relevant technologies. Outstanding customer service, problem-solving, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.
