Growth and Partnership Lead

Role Summary

The Growth and Partnership Lead will drive the execution of our 10,000-subscriber acquisition goal. You will design and execute customer acquisition strategies across student institutions, religious organizations, and other high-volume enterprise channels.

This strategic and hands-on role requires a unique mix of business development, marketing, datadriven decision-making, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a scalable acquisition strategy for both student and enterprise segments.
• Develop and optimize funnel metrics across awareness, acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Lead direct outreach, field activation, and partnerships to grow user base.
• Partner with academic institutions to integrate Wokpas podcasting course into graduation requirements.
• Forge partnerships with religious organizations, media houses, and NGOS.
• Develop co-marketing initiatives with influencers and aligned organizations.
• Track campaign KPIs and leverage analytics tools for optimization.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in growth, partnerships, or user acquisition.
• Experience in EdTech, Creator Economy, or SaaS startups.
• Proven ability to scale users in new markets.
• Experience with academic and religious institutions.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of growth funnels.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with analytics tools and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of the African media, education, or podcasting landscape is a plus.
