JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Architect to oversee architectural projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design process, ensuring the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. They will work closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver innovative and efficient architectural solutions. Additionally, the Lead Architect will provide mentorship to junior architects and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

• Review and refine architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents.

• Ensure projects are executed in line with design intent and technical feasibility.

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.

• Present designs, project proposals, and progress updates to clients and management.

• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction technologies.

• Conduct site visits to oversee project implementation and resolve architectural challenges.

• Supervise and mentor junior architects, providing guidance on design principles, software applications, and project management.

• Maintain project documentation, including design records, specifications, and progress reports.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• 7 - 9 years post NYSC work experience with design; interior spaces, residences, furniture etc.

• Portfolio showcasing previous projects and design expertise.

• Proven experience as an architect, preferably in residential and commercial projects.

• Adept in using design and rendering software like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, etc.

• Ability to provide detailed 3D modeling designs and high-quality renderings.

• Excellent design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Must have a thorough understanding of working drawings, details, and specifications.
