Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Educator with expertise in IGCSE and WAEC curricula to join our dynamic team at our school in Oregun. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively teaching mathematics at the secondary school level for at least 4 years, with a strong ability to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons in line with IGCSE and WAEC standards.

· Design and implement a range of assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback.

· Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations (IGCSE and WAEC).

· Use a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to cater to different learning styles.

· Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.

· Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school activities.

· Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students.

· Engage parents and guardians in students academic progress through regular communication.

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

· Minimum of 4 years teaching experience at the secondary school level.

· Strong knowledge and experience with both IGCSE and WAEC Mathematics curricula.

· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

· Proficient in the use of digital tools and e-learning platforms.

· A passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

· A teaching qualification (PGDE, B.Ed, or equivalent).

· Certification or training in IGCSE curriculum delivery.

· Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment standards.
