Responsibilities

To become a part of the our team, it is important that you understand business requirements and transform them into intuitive software solutions.

You will work closely with the Product Development team in understanding requirements and contribute your expertise in introducing modern design patterns. You will design, propose and develop highly performant solutions with a strong emphasis on UI/UX and security, at a global level.

You will play an instrumental role in pioneering Frontend Development capabilities in Digital Services. By working closely with Fullstack, QA, ETL and DevOps engineers in the team, you will develop rich user experiences that integrate with various backends, microservices and third-party providers.

You will participate in an agile team and contribute toward Sprint ceremonies including Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinements. You will determine story points and record man hours while owning your stories and tasks.

The position requires that you have a proactive attitude and that you are a good team player, who is willing to share knowledge with your fellow colleagues.

Working Structure

The position is a fulltime hybrid role anchored at Eryk Limited located in Lagos, Nigeria. The position requires a standard 40-hour work week, with 8 hours per day work shift. You are expected to work from our IT Service Center located at Gbagada, Lagos where we provide remote services to our customers.

QualificationsMust-Have

· 7+ years of work experience in Frontend Development building responsive web applications in React js.

· 5+ years of work experience in Typescript and Javascript.

· Knowledgeable in secure software design and architecture.

· Experience in UI/UX; in defining, documenting and developing features based on user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.

· Experience in REST API integrations, including JWT.

· Experience in unit and integration testing.

· Analytical skills in understanding application telemetry and identifying issues.

Good to Have:

· ReactJS

· VueJS

· 2+ years of experience in Back-End Software Development

· Agile / Scrum framework

· Microservices, Docker and/or Kubernetes

· UI Component Libraries

· GraphQL

· Graphic design

· AWS

· CI/CD

Soft Skills:

· Good project and time management in managing all contributions.

· Good problem-solving abilities in balancing features against technical debt.

· Proactive and results oriented with an agile mindset.

· Communicates effectively in verbal and written English.

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Or equivalent hands-on work experience.

Salary

N2,000,000 - N2,500,000 net

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦2,000,000.00 - ₦2,500,000.00 per month
