Resource Compliance Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Resource Compliance Manager, based in Lagos with some work from home flexibility. The Resource Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, overseeing the management and deployment of resources, creating and implementing compliance policies, monitoring and auditing compliance activities, and providing training and guidance on compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory & Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.

• HR Compliance & Employee Relations: Oversee employment contracts, grievances, and disciplinary procedures while ensuring fair and legal resolutions.

• Risk Management & Audits: Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.

• Policy Development & Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce resource management and HR compliance policies.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to align compliance strategies and regulatory adherence.

• Training & Awareness: Educate employees on compliance protocols, workplace ethics, and HR policies.

• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of audits, regulatory submissions, and compliance reports.

• Regulatory Liaison: Engage with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years in compliance, HR governance, audit, or risk management.

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR policies, and regulatory compliance.

• Expertise in handling employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and contract management.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the oil and gas industry

• Experience with Resource Management and Deployment

• Monitoring, Auditing, Policy Creation and Implementation skills

• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in HR and compliance management software.

• Bachelors degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
