About the Role

Were building Unity Hair , a smart, cross-platform application designed to help hairstylists document, manage, and enhance client experiences—starting with hair extension services. The mobile app is the core user experience platform for salon owners and stylists.

Were hiring a mobile app developer to turn our Figma designs and product requirements into a seamless, functional app. Youll be working alongside our product manager, UI/UX designer, and a separate AI developer who will handle the AI-driven functionalities. Your job is to bring the mobile side of this platform to life—handling everything from authentication to storage, client workflows, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Unity Hair mobile app using Flutter
Build out all UI components and navigation based on provided Figma designs Set up user authentication (Firebase Auth or similar) Implement features including:
• Client profile management
• Manual extension mapping interface
• Voice note recording and playback
• Client image upload & storage
• Manual inventory & pricing input
• Reminder system for hair extension reapplications
• Integrate with Firebase, Appwrite , or similar platforms for backend services
Ensure data is securely stored and synced across platforms
• Integrate basic analytics and error logging tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Sentry)
Ensure the app is optimized for speed, performance, and cross-device support Prepare and support app deployment to both Android and iOS app stores

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and launching cross-platform mobile apps
• Strong in Flutter
• Familiarity with Firebase , Firestore , or Appwrite or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with image handling , file storage , and auth flows
• Skilled in converting Figma designs into interactive, functional interfaces
• Good knowledge of mobile development security practices
Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and backend integrations Version control proficiency using Git/GitHub

Bonus Skills

• Experience working in the beauty, hair, or salon industry
• Knowledge of drawing/annotation tools in mobile interfaces
• Experience deploying apps to Google Play and App Store
• Previous use of Appwrite or similar platforms in live projects
