Job Description (Summary)
As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for majorly technical roles, sales roles and other non-technical roles creating a shortlist of qualified individuals, and engaging with potential candidates to enhance our employer brand. Your focus will be on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring we attract top talents. By building a robust tech talent pipeline, you will contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of highly skilled professionals for all our departments.
- Write and post technical job descriptions providing copies to the hiring managers and making revisions based on their feedback
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like LinkedIn, Github and networking communities
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants abilities
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
- Coordinate with Directors to forecast department goals and hiring needs
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Promote companys reputation as a great place to work
- Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
- Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
- Arranging phone, in-person and video conferences for meetings with potential technical professionals
- Performing various background checks on professionals before advancing them to the next interview level
- Completing reference checks with the information the professional provided you to ensure it is valid
- Offering promising technical professionals the role and filling out the required paperwork for the company
- Maintaining an organisation system to keep track of candidates interview processes and provide useful communication with professionals about their application process
- Staying within company recruitment budgets when hiring technical professionals
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in science, human resource, information technology, engineering or other relevant fields
- Three or more years of experience in technical recruiting for an agency
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong understanding of the technology field and the technical skills required for the field
- Reliable and swift decision-making skills
- Basic understanding of computer software, such as word processors and applicant tracking software (ATS)
- Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source quality candidates
- Tenacity, resourcefulness, and strong ability to build a solid network
- Proven success in recruiting for the technology sector
