Technical Sales Lead

Our client offers a diverse portfolio of innovative products and services covering the full scope of the industry. It requires the Technical Sales Lead to lead strategic competitive sales and marketing placement of Asset Management, Fluids and chemicals, and Tools and equipment products. This role is also responsible for developing business development concepts that ensure the capture of new customers and business opportunities.

Location - Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops concepts of business development that would ensure the capture of new customers and business opportunities.
  • Budgets and forecasts sales periodically.
  • Ensures effective and appropriate price negotiation with customers.
  • Monitors ordering stocks, relationship with suppliers, and delivery at the warehouse on time for ordered material.
  • Ensures regular visits to clients and develops new clients every month to increase turnover and ROI.
  • Adheres strictly to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides and analyses market information as well as suggests new product ideas that would add Scale and impact the business strategy of the organisation.
  • Conducts periodic trials with customers and suggests the respective application rates and methods to the clients to achieve the maximum cost benefit of the product.

Qualification/Requirements

  • HND/BSc/MBA/MSc/B.Tech in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or any relevant degree
  • Minimum of 10-15 years sales or Business development experience in either asset Management, Fluids and chemicals, and Tools and equipment products
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Sales and marketing of asset Management, Fluids and chemicals, and Tools and equipment products
  • Strong sales mindset and market orientation
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Collaboration skills and good Decision-making and planning skills
  • Organisation skills and driven to deliver results and meet expectations
  • Creative and innovative, and takes initiative to act and execute
  • Negotiation and persuasion, and good communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking skills

Salaries - N500,000 plus incentives, HMO, Pension and Leave allowance
