Veterinary Doctor

The Veterinary Doctor will oversee the health and welfare of all poultry stock, ensuring disease prevention, prompt diagnosis, and effective treatment of illnesses. This role will involve working closely with farm managers and customers to implement best practices in poultry management, biosecurity, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Conduct regular health assessments and inspections of poultry stock to identify signs of illness or abnormal behavior.
• Develop and implement vaccination schedules and biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Diagnose and treat poultry diseases, including prescribing medications and recommending appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor feed and nutrition programs to ensure optimal poultry health and productivity.
• Provide training and guidance to farm staff on animal health, welfare, and biosecurity practices.
• Collaborate with farm management to develop and implement health-related policies and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all veterinary and animal welfare regulations.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest poultry health advancements and practices.
Provide consultations to poultry farmers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Vet doctor
• BSc. Degree is required
