Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven and dynamic Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within a designated geographical area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, meeting revenue targets, managing a team of sales representatives, and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve area targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives/representatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
- Ensure effective territory coverage and market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and brand visibility.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess market dynamics and team performance.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
