A diversified business group with subsidiaries in Accounting/HR Consulting, Oil & Gas Procurement, and Construction is currently hiring a Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and significantly increasing revenue across all subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in tendering, proposal development, and managing high-value client relationships in consulting, procurement, and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across the group.
- Lead the end-to-end bidding and tendering processes for projects, especially in procurement and construction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans for each subsidiary.
- Monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and recommend growth strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams (HR, Finance, Operations) to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Prepare and present proposals, financial forecasts, and business performance reports to management.
- Explore and initiate potential partnerships, collaborations, and investment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a group or multi-sectoral organization.
- Strong track record in sales, business development, and tender preparation.
- Proven experience working in or with HR/Accounting Consulting, Oil & Gas Procurement, and Construction sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA is an added advantage).
