Business Develpoment Officer

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer to lead our proposed growth in sales. This strategic leadership role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and promoting the companys loan products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve the companys goals.
• Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Use data-driven insight to develop sales strategies and improve performance.
• Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
• Develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and business relationships to drive new revenue streams.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and client feedback.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in business administration, marketing, or any related discipline.
• Deep operations experience of microfinance banking (minimum of 4 years experience)
• Strong marketing and analytical skills.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to conduct field marketing.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with industry trends, market research, and competitive analysis.
