Category Representative (Housing)

Small Small Technologys mission is to provide seamless flexible and affordable living solutions to people across Nigeria, as we expand our E-Commerce Platform.

About the Role

As the Category Representative - Housing , you will work closely with property owners to onboard new properties, ensuring that each listing is accurate, compliant, and meets RentSmallSmalls quality standards. This role involves visiting properties, verifying conditions, and facilitating the operational and legal processes required to onboard properties. Your attention to detail and communication skills will be key to maintaining the high standards that our platform is known for

Responsibilities:

  • Work with property owners to onboard new properties onto the platform.
  • Ensure all property details (photos, descriptions, prices) are accurate and up to standard.
  • Conduct site visits to verify property conditions and amenities.
  • Facilitate the legal and operational processes required to onboard properties.
  • Ensure compliance with RentSmallSmalls policies for property listings.
  • Prepare detailed property inspection reports and communicate findings with both and landlords head of business operations
  • Guide property owners through the onboarding process, ensuring accurate documentation and proper property listings.
  • Take professional pictures of property.
  • Conduct post vacation inspections to assess property conditions, identify damages and coordinate repairs with landlords
  • Assist the Head of Business with tracking and reporting key operational
  • Coordinate scheduling for key operational activities such as inspections
  • Work with the legal team to ensure that property leases comply with local regulations and platform policies
  • Startup Responsibility : Due to the nature of the role, responsibilities can expand or change over time to meet evolving business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business administration, Operations Management or 2-3 years commensurate experience.

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationship with internal teams and landlords

High attention to detail ensuring accurate tracking of operational KPIs and deadlines

Knowledge of property management practices and procedures

Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements

Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving responsibilities in a startup environment
