FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Field Sales Representative to join our team at Abraham and Manaseh Nigeria Limited, an ice manufacturing company.
The Field Sales Rep will be responsible for actively prospecting, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across retail outlets, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, event canters, and other businesses requiring bulk or packaged ice.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong negotiation skills and a passion for growing business in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned region.
- Visit existing and potential customers daily to promote and sell our ice products.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring profitable sales.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor customer orders, deliveries, and satisfaction levels.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and promotional activities when needed.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer feedback, and trends.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports to management.
Requirements
- Proven field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food, beverage, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the local market and customer dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- OND/HND/Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
