Kitchen Assistant

We seek to hire an exceptional and hygienic Kitchen Assistant to help preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensuring meals are flavorful, well-presented, and served on time.
• Measuring and mixing ingredients following recipes or personal judgment.
• Ensuring the freshness and quality of all ingredients.
• Cleaning and maintaining workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assisting in the development or modification of menu items.
• Experimenting with new recipes or cooking methods to enhance offerings.
• Monitoring inventory and reporting shortages to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assisting with ordering and receiving supplies.
• Working closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Managing timing and coordination during busy service periods.
• Accommodating dietary restrictions and special requests from customers.
Handling unexpected challenges in the kitchen effectively.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creativity and passion for food preparation.
• A culinary degree or prior experience in cooking roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
