Betternship is looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team Onsite! In this role, youll be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting our websites, including contract sites, the Betternship website, and client project site

Job Description

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and fix issues on all assigned websites, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

Custom Development: Develop custom themes, plugins, and solutions tailored to the needs of our contract and project sites.

Website Optimization: Improve site speed, SEO, and user experience across all platforms.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality website solutions.

Updates & Security: Regularly update WordPress core, plugins, and themes, ensuring sites are secure and up to date.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (2+ years preferred).
• Expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
• Strong knowledge of PHP is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
