Job Brief:

Coordinate the mechanical team in alignment with plant production plan and goal by ensuring teams KPIs are met, using appropriate tools and standards for maintenance task execution, team management, recording keeping and analyzing, and failure prevention on equipment, while connecting with engineering stores on stocks levels and spares requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Accomplishing departments objectives by overseeing and leading maintenance procedures, managing team, planning, and evaluating departmental activities
• Use of SAP to plan maintenance planning and execution.
• Involvement in plant continuous improvement and Problem-solving methodologies
• Conducting RCA using tools like 5ys, fish bone, CAPA, why-why analysis to prevent failures re-occurrence.
• Management of maintenance budget by implementation of preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdown
• Annual appraisals & setting objectives for mechanical technicians and shift leads in line with department objectives
• Ensure no safety incidents happen in his area of work
• Plan and organize preventive maintenance of the relevant machines to ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
• Work on machine pro-plant generated by pro-plan system.
• Maximize plant availability by ensuring minimal downtime .
• Plan and order spare parts and tools for maintenance work to avoid delay due to material availability.

Qualification:

• HND or equivalent in Mechanical engineering. Min. 5 years of similar experience in any reputed manufacturing company, preferably milling, feed manufacturing, Brewery.
• Quality & safety conscious
• Hands on experience in various process equipment and Utility
• Computer skill and SAP maintenance module proficiency a must.
• Able to efficiently perform internet searches and research
• Able to read and interpret vendors manuals and drawings
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with the personnel, contractors, vendors OEM suppliers and management.
• Ability to write detailed maintenance report

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦700,000.00 - ₦850,000.00 per month
